Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi had a good heart and since he was against bloodshed, due to pressures from a hostile U.S. President (Jimmy Carter) , in the end he gave his Kingdom away on a silver tray, and caused great pain and suffering for his nation .
During and after the revolution of 1979 I realized this was not a revolution by the people. There were pockets of vigilantes here and there, but the masses never wanted this to happen . The mob that came into north Tehran (close to a million people) and was decisive in the overthrow of the Shah, was paid for (in my view) by American Dollars, and the amount of money that was used must have been very large. We, as a nation of thirty five million people were victims of a conspiracy plan that was designed to bring lower oil prices and keep the Western economic wheel turning.
Today, in my view, a new plan is on the drawing board : "A direct invasion of Iran and its oil in the Persian Gulf ". We shall never be free for as long as we have the sea of oil beneath our land . If a change takes place in the political structure of Iran, in my view , it will be for another puppet regime . A Nationalist government in Iran would not be in the interest of the Western world . |
