Dear President Carter, As a man I respect you. As the former President of the United States I do despise you! I am an Iranian American that almost two decades ago you ordered my deportation out of United States. Thanks to you, I never got to get my Ph. D. Your actions has caused millions of Iranians to be displaced around the world. Many families lost everything they had. Every family has a loved one lost, beacause of your actions. It was you, in your last official trip to Iran who called Iran "an island of stability." What happened? How come that same island now is number one center for "Terrorism"? Millions of Iranians (Check for yourself) see you as their direct cause of misery. You are a religious man. I respect that. However, the blood of many innocent Iranians are on your hand, through your direct actions. Tell me, when you meet with your maker what will be your answer about the Iran affair? If you wish to straighten things with almighty and Iranian people, you must do something to rectify your past mistakes. You must take on their cause, pushing for free elections and democracy. Talk about Iran, Talk about enforcing free Elections for Iran. Get active about Iran and let the world know about the crimes being committed there under the banner of religion. Believe me if you are looking for redemption, the above is the only solution. Otherwise, you will be in our prayers as a man that destroyed a whole generation. At the time of the Iranian revolution I was a very young man. I did not get to see my father for 8 years until he died. To this date I have not even been able to go to his grave site. This was justice? This was what you wanted for Iran? Turning a respectable and civilized nation that was contributing to the world civilization into a terrorist nurturing country? If you do not believe me, please talk to any and I mean any Iranian. Ask them what they think of you. Then, you will be the judge! At this time Iranian people need help in order to rid themselves from the tyrants you helped to install. Please Mr. President. Air your voice! Oppose the present regime in Iran. Help us to restore freedom and democracy back to Iran. Otherwise, when the regime changes in Iran, I can guarantee you there will be a Hall named after you. It will be called THE HALL OF SHAME! Very truly yours, F. A. - November 18th, 2004
