GOLDEN VEIL Synopsis :
A love story about a beautiful Persian secret agent woman (Layla) and an American journalist (Benjamin), taking place during the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1980. Layla helps Benjamin escape Iran through the Afghan borders, but she gets caught and thrown in jail, awaiting execution in the hands of "The Butcher of Evin prison", a psychopath torturer inside Iran's most notorious prison.
